LEASING PROTECTION & COVERAGE
Full Comprehensive Insurance
All vehicles carry Full Comprehensive insurance with Furness Anchorage Insurance. This covers the car and third parties. The insurance does not cover drivers under the age of 25.
Coverage includes:
- Third party liability
- Property Damage
- Passenger Liability
- Car Damage
The lessee assumes responsibility for the insurance excess. The Insurance excess is the amount payable before a claim can be processed through the Insurance Company.
The standard excess is 10% of the value of the vehicle. There is no excess for third party damage or injuries.
Public Liability / Additional Liability Insurance
Furness Rentals has insurance protection to cover any liabilities incurred in the discharge of its duties and services due to negligence of its employees.
Replacement Vehicles
Should the vehicle be immoblised due to breakdown or accident, a replacement rental will be given to you.
The company will provide loaners to clients should the vehicle or vehicles leased be immoblised due to breakdown or accident. Regular maintenance is conducted on all vehicles and loaners would be provided during that process.
Garage Facilities
Furness Rentals have contracted the respective vehicle agents to provide maintenance service and undertake minor repairs and adjustments to all vehicles leased. All garages have state-of-the-art equipment and are backed and certified by the brand owners internationally.
24HR Roadside Assistance
Roadside Assistance is provided by RF Solutions. Call 800-2TOW for immediate service after hours.
